在車輪制動器摩擦過薄報警系統使用中,較常出現的故障是制動器摩擦片還未到更換時機,報警系統便報警,指示燈閃亮。由以上原理分析中,可以看出,造成指示燈閃亮的原因有兩方面:一是制動摩擦片磨到了極限程度(正常),應該加以更換;二是報警系統本身有故障。報警系統檢查步驟如下:

1、關閉點火開關,拔下左右輪傳感器插頭,若指示燈仍亮,則故障在控制器,應予以更換;若指示燈閃亮停止,則說明傳感器線路正常,傳感器本身有故障,需進行進一步加以檢查區別。

2、在關閉點火開關的狀態下,插入一側傳感器插頭(不插另一側)。當打開點火開關后,看報警指示燈的情況,若不亮,則說明該側可能無問題;若指示燈閃亮,則說明該插入側的傳感器損壞。

3、用同樣的方法對另一側傳感器進行檢測,若指示燈亮,也說明該傳感器有故障。由于損壞的傳感器不可拆修,故應更換新件。
